UgForOne (Uganda For One) is Uganda's first dedicated crowdfunding platform. It connects people who need financial support with generous donors — locally and internationally. Whether it's for medical, education, community, or emergency needs, UgForOne makes giving and receiving help easy and secure.

Yes! UgForOne does not charge fees on donations. 100% of what donors give goes directly to the campaign. We sustain ourselves through optional donor tips, strategic partnerships, and sponsored features for organisations.

Absolutely. Every campaign goes through a verification process before being published. We verify the identity of campaign creators using their National ID or passport. We also monitor campaigns for compliance with our guidelines throughout their duration.

Simply browse campaigns, click "Donate Now" on any campaign you wish to support, select an amount, and choose your payment method (MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money). Then follow the on-screen instructions to complete your donation.

Currently, we support:
• MTN Mobile Money — via USSD (*165*3#) or MTN MoMo App
• Airtel Money — via USSD (*185*9#)
More payment options will be added in the future, including bank transfers and international card payments.

This depends on your jurisdiction and the nature of the campaign. We recommend speaking to your tax advisor. Donations to registered charitable organisations may be eligible for deductions under Ugandan tax law.

Yes. When completing your donation confirmation form, you may leave your name as "Anonymous." Your donation will still be processed and directed to the campaign. However, please note that internal records of the transaction will still be maintained for security purposes.

Click "Start a Campaign" from any page on the website. Fill in the campaign form with details about your cause, your goal amount, contact information, and identity verification (National ID or Passport). After submission, our team will review your campaign within 24–48 hours and contact you via email.

UgForOne supports campaigns in the following categories: Education, Medical Emergency, Environment, Community, Emergency Relief, Business & Startup, Scholarships, Social Welfare, and Personal Causes. All campaigns must comply with our Campaign Guidelines. Prohibited content includes fraudulent, illegal, or deceptive campaigns.

Campaign verification and approval typically take 24–48 business hours. You will be contacted via email and phone once your campaign is approved or if additional information is required.

Funds are disbursed to the Mobile Money number or bank account you provided during campaign registration. Disbursements are typically made weekly or upon campaign completion, depending on the campaign type. You will receive an SMS or email notification for each disbursement.

You still receive all funds raised up to that point. UgForOne operates on an "all-or-nothing" basis only for specific types of campaigns when explicitly selected. Standard campaigns receive whatever amount was raised, regardless of whether the goal was fully met.

Please report any suspicious campaigns immediately to support@ugforone.com or contact us on WhatsApp. Include the campaign name and your reason for concern. We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly. Verified fraudulent campaigns are immediately suspended and funds are held pending investigation.
