📌 Reading and following these guidelines is required before submitting a campaign. Failure to comply may result in campaign removal without notice.
1. Eligible Campaigns
UgForOne accepts campaigns in the following categories:
- Education (school fees, supplies, institutions)
- Medical Emergencies (treatments, surgeries, medications)
- Environment & Conservation
- Community Development
- Emergency & Disaster Relief
- Business Startups & Entrepreneurship
- Scholarships & Skills Development
- Social Welfare (vulnerable groups, orphans, elderly)
- Personal Causes (funeral support, personal hardship)
2. Prohibited Campaigns
The following types of campaigns are strictly NOT permitted on UgForOne:
- Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading campaigns
- Campaigns promoting hate speech, discrimination, or violence
- Political campaigns or partisan funding
- Campaigns for illegal activities or products
- Pornographic, explicit, or adult content campaigns
- Multi-level marketing or pyramid scheme funding
- Duplicate campaigns by the same individual for the same cause
3. Campaign Requirements
Mandatory Information
- Clear, descriptive campaign title
- Detailed description of the cause and how funds will be used
- Realistic and specific fundraising goal (minimum UGX 100,000)
- Clear timeline / campaign duration
- At least one good-quality photo relating to the campaign
Identity Verification (KYC)
All campaign creators must provide:
- Valid National ID (NIN) or Passport copy
- A recent passport-style facial photo
- A working phone number and email address
- A valid Mobile Money number or bank account for disbursements
4. Campaign Conduct
Once your campaign is live, you agree to:
- Provide regular updates to donors on your campaign progress
- Use funds strictly for the stated purpose
- Respond promptly to UgForOne's requests for additional information
- Not misrepresent the status or urgency of the campaign
5. Verification & Approval Process
After submission, our team will:
- Review your campaign for completeness and compliance
- Verify your identity documents
- Contact you if additional information is needed
- Approve or decline your campaign within 24–48 business hours
- Notify you via email and/or phone of the decision
6. Fund Disbursement
- Funds are disbursed to your registered Mobile Money or bank account
- Standard disbursement schedule: weekly during active campaigns
- Final disbursement is made within 3-5 business days of campaign end
- UgForOne does not deduct any fees from donations
7. Campaign Suspension & Removal
UgForOne reserves the right to suspend or remove any campaign that:
- Violates these guidelines or our Terms & Conditions
- Receives verified fraud reports from donors
- Fails to provide required documentation when requested
- Is found to be duplicated or misleading
Suspended campaigns will be notified, and funds held pending investigation. Confirmed fraudulent campaigns will be reported to relevant authorities.
