1. Acceptance of Terms

By using UgForOne.com ("the Platform"), you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this platform. By using UgForOne, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

3. User Accounts & Campaign Registration

When you submit a campaign or interact with the platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Keep your contact details updated
• Not impersonate any other person or entity
• Be solely responsible for all campaign content you submit
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your registered information

4. Campaign Creator Obligations

Campaign creators ("Campaigners") agree to:

• Provide truthful, non-misleading campaign information
• Use all funds raised for the specific stated purpose
• Provide donors with progress updates at reasonable intervals
• Cooperate fully with UgForOne's verification and compliance requirements
• Not use funds for any illegal, harmful, or prohibited activity

5. Donor Acknowledgements

By making a donation, you acknowledge that:

• UgForOne is a facilitation platform and is not the direct beneficiary of donations
• Donations are made in good faith to campaign creators
• UgForOne cannot guarantee how campaign creators will use donated funds
• Donations are generally non-refundable (see Refund Policy)
• You are responsible for verifying any claims made by campaigns before donating

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use UgForOne for:

• Fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal campaigns
• Funding activities that violate Ugandan law
• Spreading misinformation, hate speech, or harmful content
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
• Scraping or data-mining the platform without permission
• Any activity that disrupts or harms the platform's operation

7. Intellectual Property

The UgForOne name, logo, website design, and all related content are the intellectual property of UgForOne and its operators. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit our content without explicit written permission.

By submitting campaign content (photos, text, videos), you grant UgForOne a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and promote that content on the platform and related channels.

8. Platform Availability

UgForOne strives for continuous uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time without liability.

9. Termination

UgForOne reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the platform at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the platform, or third parties.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising from use of this platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Ugandan courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and take effect immediately. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
